What happens when you mix a breathtaking country venue, a stylish couple, and a four-legged ring bearer? You get Ray and Ramona’s effortlessly romantic wedding! Their day at Bebeah Farm was a perfect blend of heartfelt moments and fun, with sunlit vows, a cheese-inspired wedding cake, and plenty of happy tears. With Camilla the cavoodle by their side, they celebrated in a way that felt completely true to them – and we can’t wait to share all the details!
These two love birds met like many modern couples – on the apps! Ray and Ramona had two very different experiences on Tinder, but fate still knew to bring them together. “It was my first right swipe as I was very new with the dating app, and for Ray, it was his very last (after many and many unsuccessful dates).”
Keeping things intimate and emotional, Ray proposed to Ramona in their living room. “It was the morning of my mother’s departure to go back home to Italy, and we were getting ready to leave for the airport. Ray came into the living room and asked me to stop. He bent down on his knee and proposed in front of my mom. It was very emotional.”
Ray wore a romantic custom suit with beige pants, a white cotton shirt with his initials embroidered on it, a tailored beige linen waistcoat, and finally, his water-green linen jacket with colourful buttons.
For her own look, Ramona wore a Millanova custom wedding dress. It was complete with a flowy silhouette, off-the-shoulder sleeves, a draped sweetheart corset, a puffy skirt, and a long romantic train. She finished the look with a pair of metallic green heels with a hidden message from Ray written on the bottom.
Something that was incredibly important for Ray and Ramona was planning a dog-friendly wedding for their canine child and ring bearer, Camilla. “She was one of the most important things, along with our guests’ dogs. We picked a venue outside Sydney so we could have all our fur pups with us.”
Flowers by Julia was the wonderful florist for this romantic wedding. She used seasonal and colourful blooms such as cosmos, roses, dahlias, daisies, and so on. She also created buttonholes, bouquets, a floral dog collar for Camilla, floral pieces for Ramona’s hair, venue florals, and decorations for the wedding cake.
Nestled in its own private valley, Bebeah Farm was the perfect venue for this romantic wedding. With breathtaking views, the main house and infinity pool offered guests sweeping views of the valley below. “We fell in love from the very first second we arrived for the inspection, and Camilla (our fur pup) had the best time running up and down the hills, and that’s when we looked at each other and said: ‘This is it’!”
Their wedding musician, Ben Fox Band, opened the ceremony and welcomed Ramona and her father to begin their walk. They both teared up from the overwhelming emotions of the moment.
The weather was a huge concern for everyone on the day, as their entire wedding was outdoors, and it had been pouring all morning. Luckily, the sun parted the clouds around midday, perfect timing for their afternoon ceremony. As the ceremony began, the sun was shining, and the mountains lit up their backdrop.
Cellebrate was the perfect celebrant for this romantic wedding. She created a fun, fresh, and fabulous ceremony for Ray and Ramona. “It really represented us, and that brought the feels and laughs in equal measure. The best moments were our speeches to each other: fun and emotional, and the arrival of our rings from our little pup Camilla (cavoodle), who carried their custom rings in a little pocket around her collar.
Ray had this to say, “Best day of my life! A dream come true especially for both our families to come together from two different countries, so hard but we made it happen.”
Shyani and Simon from Moments Photography captured all of these beautiful photos from this romantic wedding. “They took amazing photos and videos of us, our family, and friends. They made us at ease, and everything was simple and fun with them.”
The five things that made their relaxed, romantic wedding so special were;
“1. Having our family together
2. Camilla, our dog
3. The beautiful location
4. Our friends and fur friends
5. The vibe.”
The piece of advice Ray and Ramona want to leave for future married couples is this: “Be totally yourself on the day and enjoy every moment as time flies on the day.”
Instead of the classic cake cutting, Ray and Ramona put together a cheese cake in honour of their business, Cheese Celebrations. They donned their aprons and transformed the cake into an incredible grazing table for everyone to enjoy!
Their first dance was to “Classic” by MKTO, with Camilla joining in on the fun!
A huge congratulations to Ray and Ramona on their beautiful, romantic wedding! A big thank you to Moments Photography for capturing all the magic so perfectly!
