Your big day is finally coming up – you’ve probably found your dream venue, started on your dresses or suits, and now you get to decide all the amazing details. Let’s help you find your style by showing you some of the more memorable, creative, and modern centrepieces in floral design for 2025!

2025 is all about bright and bold colours

Nothing says fun and happiness like a burst of vibrant colours. Whether you do a bold colour scheme of pinks and reds, or opposing colours like purple and yellow, or a complete mix – find the best colour schemes to bring out the best in the floral designs at your wedding.

Fruit and veg to style your tables

Last year fruit and vegetables in floral centrepieces had a huge resurgence – think citrus fruits like lemons and oranges, pears, grapes and even eggplants! Add a bow, some candles and *chefs kiss* you have an incredible addition to your flowers.

Embrace the seasonal flowers

We are all about using local grown, seasonal florals. My own wedding was in the middle of Winter, and we had so many colourful flowers. So, be assured that you can have your dream colour palette at any time of the year. In support of Australian grown florals, here’s a small list of the amazing flowers you can have in each season.

Add your own personal touch

Your wedding is all about you and your partner, so why not let your centrepieces tell your story? Use floral arrangements to reflect your shared hobbies, favourite places, or even something sentimental. If a particular flower isn’t in season, or doesn’t hold well out of water, we can still incorporate it by using a silk version instead.

Peek into the bridal bouquet – can you tell that the magnolia flower is silk?

Mix and match your table arrangements

This style works with both round tables and long tables – mix and match between arrangement styles. Alternate bud vases with lower table arrangements to mix heights, colours and textures. This can also work if you’re incorporating fruit styling and candles.

Repurpose your ceremony arrangements to your reception tables

Almost all your ceremony florals can be repurposed, and we love nothing more than for you to enjoy your flowers all night long! Whether it’s an arbour arrangement to head table, plinths to guest tables, we have you covered! The images below show how you can repurpose an arbour to the bridal table.

I absolutely love working within a colour scheme and choosing the right flowers at the markets for couples to create everything for their big day. You and your guests will spend the most amount of time in your reception space.

I hope this has sparked some creative ideas for fun and joyful centrepieces that will bring your wedding tables to life! Wishing you all the best as you plan the perfect floral arrangements for your big day.

A huge thank you to Christina from Grumpy Flowers! We hope this has given you the inspiration and the dopamine hit you need to start dreaming up the perfect flowers for your wedding day.
