A canvas of pastel hues and iridescent light, this styled shoot captures the essence of spring reimagined through an artistic lens. Drawing on the delicate beauty of Japan’s cherry blossoms and the sparkle of iridescent textures, every detail feels like a work of art. It’s a celebration of how iridescent spring weddings can be a source of endless inspiration and creative expression.

Today’s East-meets-West styled shoot featured iridescent styling, Japanese influences and plenty of pastel spring-like florals artfully captured by Sugar Tree Photography. This inspiration shoot aims to demonstrate how soft, iridescent elements can elevate the classic pastel spring flower theme – transforming it into something unique and beautiful.

The infusion of Japanese influences excited Marie from Lil Elements when she began styling and concept design. “Drawing inspiration from Japan’s iconic cherry blossom flowers, I infused their delicate beauty throughout the design,” she shared.

Ethereal calligraphy done by the talented Theoberry Stationery decorated the menus and invites, drawing inspiration from Japanese fans to add a unique touch to the stationery.

Custom-made kimono jackets and kimono obi belts were crafted from authentic silk by Sherry Bridal Couture and incorporated with the traditional Western lace wedding dress from Barefaced Bridal.

Iridescent cellophane lined the acrylic plinths to add a touch of sparkle and shimmer, complementing Petal Pushers’ pastel spring flower combinations. The florals themselves featured glints of glitter and were wrapped in silk ribbons from Artiste Saku, adding an enchanting look to the already magic shoot.

The tablescape was full of lavish floral petals, balanced with a minimalist approach to let the details really shine. With hints of gold, pastel tones and ghost chairs, the craftsmanship of those details was the star of the show.

To finish off the shoot, the team included a touch of whimsy with this beautiful white Samoyed dog, showcasing how pets don’t need to be left out and can, in fact, enhance the overall feel of your day.
