Courte Collection was founded in 2021 by two friends who shared a love of all things bridal fashion that, paired with their passionate skills, created the perfect storm. From their Melbourne Atelier, the duo designs minimal, chic styles for fashion-conscious, sustainable-focused brides with a deep desire for individual and versatile wedding fashion options.

In the post-pandemic landscape, there’s been a shift in the wedding fashiontrends and mindset that the pair watched unfold. The way couples wed was changing—they saw more requests for shorter reception dresses, more brides demanding higher-quality products, and a stronger focus on sustainably made pieces that would last for more than one season or event.

Captured by Rolan John, the ‘Jeux de Nuit’ Collection is an ode to modern, minimalist beauty and is the newest addition to the Courte Collection party and cocktail catalogue.

Seeking to deconstruct traditional bridal options, this collection focuses on two pieces with various separates that can be layered over dresses and worn in any way imaginable. Think mini skirts, tailored shorts and palazzo pants styled with jackets and tops in the signature Courte Collection fabrications and finishes.

To complement the clean aesthetic and sleek tailoring of their signature silhouettes, Jeux de Nuit features curved seams, drop waists, and elegant full-length gowns with contrasting fabrics.

With their commitment to responsible design and sustainable practises still at the core of Courte, this collection introduces innovative materials to replace traditional bridal stalwarts. Alongside its finest 100% silk creations, Courte is introducing Evoero Lenzing Viscose Satin, which uses at least 50% less water and emits at least 50% less Co2 than generic viscose fibres.

This collection is for the high fashion brides who want impeccable tailoring, the finest sustainable fabrics and modern style options with the ability to wear again and again – long after they’ve said their “I do’s”.

Jeux de Nuit is made to order in Melbourne and available exclusively online with international shipping on their website. The pieces range from $365 to $2195, with a size range of AU 6 to AU 16.
