In the world of weddings, grand celebrations often take centre stage, but what about those who yearn for an intimate, deeply personal affair? Can an elopement be as captivating and beautifully styled as a lavish wedding? The answer, as revealed in this stunning Springtime country garden elopement, is an emphatic yes!
The inspiration for this elopement was drawn from the idyllic charm of country gardens in spring, featuring dew-kissed grass and pastel blooms. The shoot was intentionally kept minimalistic to emphasize what truly matters—the profound love between two individuals. Nevertheless, a touch of exquisite style ran through every element, resulting in a sweet, springtime garden love story that invites couples to embrace the beauty of simplicity.
Bringing this vision to life is real couple, Toni Lee Doderico and James, who took centre stage. Despite the weather’s challenges—a chilly 11 degrees and sporadic rain showers—their unwavering spirit prevailed.
A collaborative team of talents breathed life into this enchanting elopement, each contributing their unique expertise to create an unforgettable celebration. Jen Tighe Photo, photographer and planner of this gorgeous shoot, masterfully captured every fleeting moment, preserving the genuine emotions and love that Toni and James shared. “My plan was to create a soft, spring, country garden elopement. Small enough that I could focus on each vendor’s details and something to show even if you have decided against the big wedding, you can still have a beautifully styled day that focuses on the two of you.”
Toni exuded elegance and sophistication in a stunning gown by Lola Varma, while James looked dapper in a bespoke suit by Houndstooth Tailors. Celebrant Sue Begg added a touch of solemnity and warmth to the proceedings, ensuring that the ceremony was a heartfelt reflection of Toni and James’s love story.
Beauty was transformed into an art form by Ashley Morales, crafting a makeup and hair look that enhanced Toni’s natural beauty and radiance. The creative minds at Black Finn Weddings meticulously curated the aesthetics of the elopement, infusing every detail with an understated elegance that perfectly matched the couple’s love story. Floral arrangements, provided by Fleurs de Lyonville and Handpicked Ethical Florals, adorned the space and complemented the springtime garden theme. Delectable berry-adorned cakes, created by Fig and Salt, added a sweet touch to the celebration. The picturesque backdrop was none other than The Estate Trentham, a beautiful accommodation venue with the capacity to host elopements and micro weddings, setting the stage for a truly memorable day.
