If anything has come out of the pandemic, that we adore, it’s the influx of elopements. It’s never going to get old to see stories of couples who decided to do it their way and run away to a beautiful spot to tie the knot. So today’s editorial celebrates that, but it turns out, it also celebrates our May love of yellow, So really, applause all around for this dream team!
The vision of photographer Shutter Scope Weddings, this was an editorial designed to inspire your elopement. “I had this idea after the numerous wedding cancellations because of covid to show my clients that you can have a super intimate wedding with just the two of you and it can be different and beautiful!”
Kate, who enlisted models Caera Beightol and Jonathan Graham as her willing subjects found a beautiful spot in the Blue Mountains for the story to unfold. Caera, in a white, bow adorned frock from Dissh, wore a veil from Ivory Knot to complete her look. Jonathan wearing a classic black suit, with a white shirt look from Johnny Bigg.
The yellow, the bright and vivid beauty that embodied Kate’s vision for a relaxed and happy vibe for the occasion, was styled by Rustic Florals Sydney. Finishing touches – vow booklets from Dear Charlotte and rings from Linjer and Merchant Of The Sun complete the look.
So if eloping is on your mind? Let the fun, and the bright & modern details from this one inspire you!
