What You Will Need
- Fabric – plain cotton is easiest (ensure it’s had a wash)
- Fabric paint and stamp (we used a cork – you could also personalise with letter stamps)
- Sewing machine, scissors, thread
- Ribbon
- Sweets
Step One
Cut out fabric to size, approximately 20x10cm, with two pieces per bag. Sew around three edges, leaving one narrow end open. Trim threads and bottom corners, before turning the bags the right way around.
Step Two
Give the favour bags an iron, then insert some scrap paper into the bag to stop paint seeping through to the other side. Using a cork, stamp the bags with coloured paint of your choice.
Step Three
Allow the paint time to fully dry, remove the paper, fill with sweets and tie with a ribbon! Add a sweet tag to thank your guests for coming for an extra special touch.
