There is a reason we start every Monday with wedding day fashion. We just need beauty, style, inspiration to kick off our week. And oh, how we have all of this and more in today’s feature, the brand new capsule collection, a collaborative effort between designers Galia Lahav and photographers Tali Photography.
Channelling joy, elegance, youth, and beauty after the three graces of Mythology, the capsule collection, of four gowns, is all about ethereal romantic beauty. Says designer Sharon Sever “The choice of materials, colours, silhouettes was clear from the very first time we have discussed the idea of having a collaboration with Tali, it would significantly demonstrate a mood we both share; it would be the unity of design and art, it would be ROMANCE.”
Drawing upon their mutual loves of their clientele – their confidence, well-travelled and fashionable wearers, the four beautiful gowns, of style meets beauty. There’s “Treasure” of Swiss dotted tulle with embellished beaded appliqués and gathered lantern sleeves. Next up is “Ture”, Princess ballgown in silhouette, this gown has an off the shoulder neckline, a corset bodice, and sheer lantern sleeves. There is “Tiana” with a 3d floral net fabric that shows off a lace adorned bodice against lace adorned balloon sleeves. And rounding out the collection is “Tali”. A bow-adorned waistline complementing the silk tulle gown, that comes complete with beautiful pleated detail.
Tali explains, “Inspired by our brides, we created a collection for the ethereal goddess which gives her a romantic, feminine, sensual and a little je ne sais quoi style. The gowns are made of carefully chosen fabrics combining handmade skills, and makes the bride feel beautiful and self-confident. To design wedding gowns and to capture stunning wedding photos is to share a similar creative fantasy.”
And if romance is beauty sounds good to you? This collection might just sound good to you too.
The collection is made to order and found at Galia Lahav retailers. Galia Lahav is stocked in Australia at Dion For Brides and Eternal Bridal.
