It may be June, it may be the middle of our winter with crisp cold mornings and all the rugging up, but in our books, that’s an even better time than ever to escape to the sunshine, and that we are, thanks to the new “Hydra” wedding gown collection from Tel Aviv designer Liz Martinez.

Inspired by the summer mood of the small Grecian fishing town of Hydra. The designer inspired by the almost untouched by modern life seaside town under the Mediterranean.

The collection, which consists of 17 pieces, embodies a feminine, romantic modern wedding day style. Liz pulled the old and new, the timeless yet modern, the structured yet flow-y contrast of the Grecian island into her gowns. Each designed to enhance with structure silhouettes and angular lines but with beautiful romantic fabrics, stunning sparkling beading, and almost ethereal drapery.

Our picks? The mini dress of “Flow” with fun tulle godets, the elegant beauty of “Cliff” a fully beaded gown, with a simple silhouette, and finally “Pearl” with its all over pearl embellished lace design, and short cap puff sleeves is an ode to this year’s current trends. Says the design team “It’s our hope that each woman feels empowered, bold, and elegant when she wears one of our dresses.”
