There’s no doubt that this year is going to be filled with more elopements than ever, so this fine Thursday? We thought what better than to fill senses with plenty of beautiful inspiration for your own sneaky elopement.
Captured in beautiful fine art style by Norman Yap Photography (assisted by Mel Silva ), the dream was the concept, and vision of floral designer Flowertalk. Shares Norman “Stylist and florist Jappalin Manning created a mood board featuring a sage, white and gold colour palette.”
And then the celebration! Making the most of the high ceilings of the hotel, Festoon Lighting Perth brought in stunning gold lighting pieces, that hung from an overhead installation of greenery. The table, topped in sage green linens and gold flatware, brass candlesticks with white taper candles and a beautiful, long centrepiece of textured white flowers – dahlias, carnations, hydrangeas Queen Anne’s lace and bleached ferns turning the neutral colour palette into something unforgettable. The beautiful hotel setting, the restored and oh so beautiful Warders Hotel in Fremantle set the scene for this celebration, and also acted as the inspiration for the day. “Warders Hotel cottages have a high cultural and historic significance to the city, state and nation and is preserved through the ages with careful restoration” explains Norman.”
Of course, there had to be something super special to finish this editorial off, Michelle Pike Illustration joining the crew to illustrate the happy couple in hand-drawn perfection. (Did you know the traditional first wedding anniversary gift is paper? Hint hint!).
