Kaylah & Dylan

Hello, 2021 and hello another year full of amazing love stories! We’re kicking off a year filled with engagement sessions with the story of Kaylah and Dylan, accompanied by this beautiful engagement session shot by Jessica Abby Photography. The couple, using Jessica’s advice, choosing a setting that reflected their relationship and what they love – bare feet, the sea and getting back to nature.

It was the digital world of Instagram that led Kaylah and Dylan to meet, Dylan making the first move, says Kaylah.  “Seven years ago I received a friend request on Instagram, I accepted the friend request as we had mutual friends. One day we caught up and ever since then we have been inseparable. He was different from everyone else the more I got to know him the more I attracted to him. And here we are seven years later, married with a newborn and built a house!”

A family holiday was just what the groom needed to pop the question, remembers Kaylah. “Dylan asked my dad for my hand in marriage and they were soo emotionally happy to accept him into the family. For my 21st birthday, we organised a family holiday to Cambodia and Thailand. We were in Cambodia and booked a trip to see Angkor Wat temple as a family – little did I know as I was taking in the amazing view I turned around and he took my hand and kneeled on one knee in front of all my family and asked me to marry him. Jessica Abby was lucky enough to capture all this incredible moment!”

On Kaylah, Dylan shares “What I love about Kaylah is that she has always been so strong and independent she puts herself last in whatever situation. She’s an amazing mother and I find that sooo attractive more and more every day she is so beautiful and caring.”

“I fell in love with Dylan’s kind, caring and loving nature” notes Kaylah. “I love that he is an amazing father and role model to our daughter and would do anything for his family.”
