The Scenic Rim is a truly special part of Australia and we are so lucky to be sharing an absolutely stunning editorial that celebrates all there is to love about this very special, very remote region.
Curated by the one who knows – Scenic Rim Bride, and captured by both Figtree Pictures and Castle and Crown Films (scroll down for the film!) this was an editorial that, in Bronwyn, of Scenic Rim Bride’s words, was “Basking in the warmth of love with a country oasis in shades peaches and cream contrasted with amber and copper”.
And that combination? It turns a country wedding into a chic, beautifully styled celebration, and it’s one that is full of ideas for your own country day.
The beautiful country homestead (and wedding venue!) of Royston House played host to this one. The tablescape is the star of this show, the pieces from Moreton Hire. A wooden table and black metal chairs set the scene for beautiful pieces from Table For Louis – white crockery, brass candlesticks and amber-toned glassware tying back to that deeply toned colour palate with rust-brown linen napkins, and a stunning floral arrangement of peach, pink and brown blooms and foliage by New England Flower Co.
The florals, of course, make this look – a hanging installation in the same tones hanging over the setting on the classic Aussie wide country verandah. The look finished with paper pieces from Love Notes and a wooden welcome sign from the queen of signage The Rustic at Heart.
Models La’Ace de Vries and Adam Danielli playing our bride and groom. La’Ace dressed in an elegant long-sleeve gown by Karen Willis Holmes and her look complete with a chic straightened hair and blush, rosy pink makeup by Lara Quinn.
Now, I advise heavily, that if you’re going to scroll down (and, of course, you should) you make sure your stomach isn’t rumbling, because the ever amazing Marina Machado Cakes created not just the most stunning three-tier wedding cake with caramel drizzle and a cascade of blooms, but a lick your screen worthy dessert table. Set by the cosy open fire, Marina created stunning layered cakes, delicious tarts and pies – even scones, for guests at this country wedding to dive into, This? It’s the most delicious end to an editorial that is truly and utterly a delight for any Aussie’s senses.
