Dotties, don’t you always feel like after a long weekend you re running to catch up? That’s been us this week! We’ve been trying to cram too many days into one and probably not doing the best we should. I am slightly relieved that next week is a “normal” length if I am honest. Despite the rush, we still managed to share so much amazing wedding inspiration this week. So many beautiful stories and so many ideas! Let’s round it up.
We chatted to Sophie of Townsend Wedding Films this week
Ever considered this Australian location for your honeymoon?
Taking a look at groom Jonathan’s wedding day style
Cannot get enough of this divine country wedding
Make this classic & simple wedding signage for your own wedding
The best ways to showcase the city in your wedding film with Native Weddings
In honour of the City Issue – make our Manhattan cocktail!
Looking to buy wines for your pre-wedding parties? Shopping local vineyards for your wedding drinks? Yarra Valley’s The Worlds Shortest Lunch was cancelled this year due to COVID and that means one thing – they have a lot of wine to sell at a very special price! The team has selected 38 wines into three unique cases of a dozen, and a mixed-six. No two cases have the same wines, and each case is a mix of red and white, along with rose or sparkling varietals of the region’s very best. Head on over to the website to purchase.
Our friends at Institchu have all the news today, not only have they opened their brand new Woollahra showroom, but, and this is our favourite news of all – they’ve launched their womenswear collection!
We’re all about shopping locally, so meet Bush Registry! This brand new Australian business has created a wedding registry that allows you, the couple, to add items to your wedding registry while supporting regional and rural Queensland and New South Wales. The registry has over 12000 products to choose from, with more being added constantly. Think art, homewares and everything in between! Find more details here.
We’re ending off the week by welcoming Melbourne Entertainment Co to our merry band and having our own home office dance parties to their rendition of “Love On Top” and “Ain’t Nobody” by their pop trio! These guys playing while your guests are enjoying cocktails to toast the newlyweds? Count us in!
