Serge of DJ:Plus! Entertainment provides a DJ and MC service for your wedding. What are the advantages of having a professional DJ/MC at your wedding, you ask?  Serge goes to a great deal of trouble to get to know you, your personal style and tastes, and prides himself on providing an evening that is reflective of your vision and style – and he knows what he’s doing – no fumbling over the order of events, or a less than professional delivery. Not only playing music that are favourites of you and your guests, that will have the dancefloor rocking with young and old, but his MC services are a professional addition adding fun, style and personality to your day. He’s a very polished and experienced professional, and he has your back so that you know that your wedding reception will run smoothly and you won’t have a thing to worry about.

We asked Serge from DJ:Plus! Entertainment five questions in five minutes:

What is the most important piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?

Go with your gut! When enquiring with potential wedding vendors, undertake a little research and make the time to actually speak with them, either on the telephone, in person or both. This will allow you both to better understand exactly what is required and determine whether the service provided actually aligns with your vision for the wedding day. If you are instantly excited after this or the alarm bells are ringing, the odds are that your feelings are spot on! Going with your gut simply means you’re much more likely to opt for those vendors you have a good rapport with, and who won’t ultimately let you down on your big day.

Tell us about a hidden talent you have?

Not sure that it is a secret talent, but I am told that I am a very proficient cook. When I get the opportunity, I love to cook up a feast of delectable delights for a few friends.

As a vendor, what excites you about the wedding day?

For me it, is all about the LOVE! My excitement starts from the first conversation, continues throughout the entire process and culminates on the wedding day, where I get to not only witness a couple’s love but also to be able to contribute to the memories by helping them create special moments which reflects their love and vision in my role as MC and then watch everybody celebrate the couple’s happiness in my role as DJ.

What are you known for?

After forty years, the constants that couples, guests and other wedding suppliers comment on are my attention to detail, working as part of a team and continually going above and beyond for my couples. This stems from my belief that a wedding is all about love – this gives me energy, enhances creativity and to genuinely care about my couples.

If you could choose a song to play for the rest of your life what would it be?
