Angela of Angela Osagie Bridal is wonderfully imaginative, bringing such femininity into her designs with beading, embroidered flowers, delicate fabrics – yet her gowns exude a timeless elegance that will have you wishing at each anniversary that you could wear your dress again! Taking between 8 to 12 months from sketching the design, to toile, to choosing the perfect fabrics and embellishments, to the final gown, the whole process is at the heart of Angela’s couture wedding gown business – personal service, attention to detail and the perfect fit. Angela also has a House Collection featuring gowns that reflect current trends and signature styles. So much choice – you’re sure to find your perfect gown!
We asked Angela from Angela Osagie Bridal five questions in five minutes:
What is the most important piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?
Don’t conform to traditions to please others, stay close to all that is valuable to your own hearts. There can often be so much pressure to follow in the footsteps of family and customs. I say honor your unique path and carve out this life from your own truth.
Tell us about a hidden talent you have?
My hidden talent is the ability to listen to all the things that are and aren’t said and bridge the development stages of the process. The real foundation of every couture wedding dress is getting the vision correctly translated into the final creation
As a vendor, what excites you about the wedding day?
Seeing the bride at her most beautiful wearing her dream wedding dress with confidence and joy.
What are you known for?
Attention to detail, my fine focus yet relaxed and fun fitting process, and providing a dress that is sculptured to perfection for each bride.
If you could choose a song to play for the rest of your life what would it be?
Om Namah Shivaya. A favorite Indian mantra.
