Rachael & Micaiah
Sometimes, an engagement session on the beach, in the middle of a forest, or in the countryside just isn’t your jam. Sometimes you need something more, something colourful, something noisy and something so very fun.
Enter today’s whimsical carnival engagement session of Rachael & Micaiah captured in Jervis Bay by Samuel White Photography. It’s got the scary clowns, its got fairy floss, ferris wheels and plenty of neon lights. In fact, it’s pretty much the complete opposite of laid back style, and I am so very much in the mood for it.
It was all about Tinder for these two and how they came to be, tells Rachael our bride to be. “We were very fortunate to swipe right! We met through Tinder when I was visiting the south coast on a work trip.”
It was at sunset, surrounded by family and friends that Micaiah decided to ask the biggest question of all. “We became engaged whilst celebrating Micaiah’s 30th birthday last year in June. We were with all our friends on our house front deck overlooking the ocean. It was the most spectacular sunset, and the best moment of my life.”
On his love for Rachael, Micaiah shares “Rach is super bubbly. I love that she is always so happy and upbeat.”
These two share many stories together, but it was their first date that still to this day remains the most memorable moment of all. Rachael remembering “Our best relationship story happened on our first date! We are both passionate Xbox gamers and love NBA. We decided to vs each other and as we both selected our favourite team we realised it was LAKERS VS LAKERS! great minds think alike! I defeated Micaiah in a heated game. I later found out he returned home to tell all his friends of his defeat and that, “she’s the one”.”
“I love that Micaiah is so smart, driven, and calm. He inspires me in every way” tells the bride to be of her future husband.
