It’s becoming a little like, hello new day, hello amazing colourful wedding or editorial we can’t get enough of around these parts, and we can’t say any one of the Polka Dot team is complaining!
Today’s beautiful is just the ticket for The Colour Issue. A modern space set on a rooftop (Aloft Perth) overlooking beautiful Perth taking on a fun, colour filled wedding with a carefree vibe.
Our photographer Sandie Bertrand Photography and cinematographer Canopy Films (scroll on for that beauty) captured all the details as planner Wedding Warriors coordinated a team that was all about two different looks- bold colours, and elegance can combine in blended harmony.
Starting at the beginning, a circular backdrop from Amara Weddings & Events stood against the city skyline, adorned in bright and beautiful flowers, styled by Amara Weddings & Events. The pink to orange to yellow ombre blooms adding a sense of modern fun to the rooftop ceremony accompanied with live music by Blake Williams.
Guests gathered inside for a festive style celebration. A cocktail hour set with pieces from Event Artillery before guests made their way to low pallet tables from Pallettable Recycled Furniture. Topped with woods, white and brass tableware from Side Serve Perth, the addition of coloured glassware and bright blooms, alongside beautiful stationery pieces and whimsical wedding favours designed by Butterfly Days adding a sense that this occasion is not too serious,
The fun all kicking off as our happy couple cut their cake, a modern beauty designed by The Messy Apron. Adorned with aqua, pinks, and orange, the square tiered cake stealing the spotlight in front of the modern all-white backdrop.
Our newlyweds, bride Wedding Warriors dressed in a sparkling gown from Through The White Door and adorned with pieces handcrafted by Holly Barker Millinery. Her elegantly glam makeup styled by Narelle Glossop. her groom dressed in a suit of taupe and black from Brittons Formal Wear. The happy couple making their way into the moonlit night in a mint green beauty from Perth Vintage.
Stylist Megan sharing “The style is a definite weave of contemporary-classic & youthful-festival. It’s a pinch of carefree, a splash of celebration & a whole lot of PARTY!”
