If you ever doubted that the Colour Issue is all about giving you plenty of inspiration that certainly packs a punch, then you need to see today’s editorial of Blue, Orange & Gold Modern Wedding Inspiration.

It’s packed to the brim with modern details, but in a way, that actually honours the venue (the beautiful Mawarra Functions). It’s a mix of old and new, bold and bright and plenty of ideas to take and steal for your own big day!

The vision was the dream of Lydia & Matt of The Confetti Room who enlisted White Rabbit Productions to capture our dream team making magic at the country venue. The duo, behind it all behind The Confetti Room sharing “we just wanted to stand out and show that weddings can be bold, bright and colourful!”

The scene is set with orange, deep blue and bold stationery pieces by Petite Paper Co. The furniture marries old and new with vintage pieces from Good Day Club contrasting with modern pieces from The Hirer, C&S Styling and Luna Twelve. The shining star, the reception table sat under a garland of balloons and streamers styled by The Confetti Room. It was topped with deep teal linens from Table Art, gunmetal cutlery, black crockery and coloured glassware from The Design Depot.

Guests are guided to their places by acrylic pieces from Embardesigns alongside Fox and Hart, bold and modern floral arrangements, full of black, blue and white blooms and greenery, by Erm Blooms as the finishing touch.

And let’s talk about that fun backdrop, Neon Garden Event Hire bringing to life their “til Death” neon sign to show off beautiful, decadent cakes, right on the theme from Torte By Mirjana,(topped with a modern black heart topper from Kittyhawk) Mr Cake and Cakes by Courtney (who created her take on a Rubix cube!).

It’s all a little sparkly, a little glam, a little modern and definitely a look to fall utterly in love with!
