Victoria! You’re our final food truck roundup for 2019! Victoria is really the place where the Australian food truck movement seemed to kick off. And luckily for you, and us, it’s still flourishing! Victoria, Melbourne, Geelong, Kyneton, Ballarat- there are food trucks all over the State serving up everything from pizza to tacos, burgers to pasta and everything in between!
Did you know there are about 3000 food trucks in Victoria? So while we’d love to have included everyone, it was physically impossible. Today, we just included every amazing food truck we could find that we know does wedding catering. And let’s clarify, these are food trucks (because if we added more mobile food styles, our list would be way too long, even for us) and they all mention weddings,

Fat Cats Food Van bring their amazing fresh produce based menus anywhere in Victoria. Owner Adrian is passionate about food and has devised six different menus (including my favourite the “taco feasts”, alongside plenty of options including a brunch menu) to suit any kind of occasion. They can even cater to the morning after party! Click to meet them.
Digging For Fire BBQ are pros when it comes to mixing food trucks and weddings. These guys serving up beautiful BBQ feasts using the best local produce. Based out of Upwey they travel all over Victoria and have all kinds of packages, all of which involve their delicious slow-cooked meats.
Love a burger? Meet Mr Burger. These guys do amazing burgers, fries and shakes and the best part? They cater to weddings! These guys, based in Melbourne (but travelling!) can customise their menu to suit your own wedding dreams.
Nem “N” Nem serves up Vietnamese style street food. The green and white van can attend your wedding and serve up your favourites. From spring rolls and dumplings to more substantial fare like Bahn mi, bao and noodle salads. Based in Melbourne, they even have vegan and gluten-free options.
When it comes to Mexican food trucks, I have to admit, Melbourne based Taco Truck is my go-to. These guys have plenty of event catering under their belt, so they know what they’re doing as they customise menus of tacos, guacamole and other Mexican fare for your wedding or celebration.
You won’t be able to miss the bright colours of Brazilian/Portuguese street food truck Vira Lata. Serving up a modern take on traditional cuisine, these guys have a menu of treats like chorizo, grilled halloumi prawns in Piri Piri sauce, Brazilian style potato salad and even pineapple glazed pork fillet. If you want more street-style food, they’ll do a Brazilian/Portuguese street foods take on classic burgers and fries too!
The silver gem (the team’s Airstream, but they have three more trucks to choose from!) of Happy Camper Pizza is a crowd favourite. These guys serve up delicious wood-fired pizzas (vegan and gluten-free available) fresh from their truck. They have multiple event packages (set number of pizzas or all you can eat just two of them) and they can even accompany the feast with beautiful antipasto platters. They’re based out of Melbourne but travel!
Epic burgers are the name of the game with Gorilla Grill. Marrying Asian cuisine with American diner-style food, they serve up insane burgers (like the Chicken & Waffle) ribs, tacos and chips are all on the menu.
Imagine this red and white adorned vintage Italian gelato cart wowing your guests as they celebrate your nuptials. Bianco Latte make their gelato using beautifully fresh local produce. They have three event packages to choose from, all of which allow you to choose delicious multiple gelato flavours for the team’s self-created recipes.

A vintage van converted into a pizza kitchen, Pizza Wagon will serve up your pick of five of their delicious pizzas at your wedding. Catering for all dietary requirements, they can even bring their gelati cart, cool room and chic portable toilets along for the ride!
Italian ice cream cart Vanilla & Co have wedding and event packages starting at $550. Their delicious gelato is 100% artisan made, all in Melbourne using fresh local ingredients. Each cart can serve six flavours and hold enough to feed 400 hungry guests.
Maverick N Goose loves their food. With a combined 30 years of hospitality experience, their truck serves up tacos, chicken burgers, fried chicken, calamari and chips. Based out of Point Cook these guys happily do weddings alongside their sister food truck Donald & Tuck (who love to serve sliders!)
We’re dreaming over the old school vibes of Let’s Waffle & Shake. The blue food truck makes old school milkshakes and waffle pops for a dessert your guests will dream over for months to come. The team is based out of Melbourne.
These guys are already famous for their low and slow BBQ style menu and their Fancy Hanks Roadhouse food van can take care of everything. They’ll serve up their famous dishes and accompany them with options like sweet cornbread. They can even serve up drinks and vegan dishes!
Trailermade’s menu is inspired by street food from around the world. So they have everything from pizza, to turlu turlu to slow-cooked meats. They’ll happily roam amongst guests serving up canapes, deck out a grazing table for you to serve from the truck. With a focus on organic and local ingredients, and minimising harmful waste, they’re based in Melbourne.
Round The Way Bagels is a brilliant option for not just evening weddings, but breakfast and lunch too. Imagine your guests enjoying jam-packed flavour filled bagels filled with favourite fillings like the “Reuben” (smoked beef brisket with melted Swiss cheese and kraut) alongside entrees and desserts.
Street Feast loves their slow-cooked meats. This Melbourne food truck turns their slow-cooked meats into tasty burgers, rolls, shared platters and serves them up along salads (everyone’s favourite slaw) croquettes and so much delicious more.
Small batch ice cream favourite Icecream Social has all that gorgeous old fashioned ice cream truck style. They have bases in both Melbourne and Castlemaine and travel all over Victoria and can not only bring your favourite homemade ice cream flavours but even work with you on brand new ideas. Event hire starts at $600.
If you’re a doughnut lover, you might love to know you can hire the famous American Doughnut Kitchen for private events. The truck can head to your event to serve up their secret family recipe doughnuts. The van will travel within five km of Collingwood.
Nothing like a good old fashioned Aussie BBQ and The Snag Society‘s hot dog cart makes that tasty dream a reality. The team delivering gourmet hot dogs with internationally flavoured toppings like “The Spaindard” (chorizo of course) and “The Mexican” dished up with guacamole. They’re happy to dish up vegan and gluten-free options too.
Jays Yogurt, a converted truck, serves up a blended frozen yoghurt from their van. But this yoghurt? It’s blended, and your guests get their choice of toppings from the frozen bar (with healthy options like frozen berries alongside options like chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake).
Roll up for doughnut van Donut Panic. 20 years of serving up hot delights all over Melbourne put these guys into good practice for events. The truck’s bite-sized doughnuts filled with flavour (and fillings like Nutella) and will show up happily to your event.
Wheelie Good Pizzas are lovers of catering events. They’ll show up with their delicious menu of traditional and gourmet pizzas and cook them fresh in the van for your wedding feast. These guys are based out of Traralgon South.
If you’re looking for paella, tacos or tapas, you need Dos Amigos. The bright and beautiful food truck, based in Melbourne, will custom-create a menu of Spanish & Mexican cuisine for your own wedding including your dietary requirements.
Romeo’s Woodfired Pizza will bring their mobile woodfired pizza oven anywhere in Melbourne. Their huge range of traditional gourmet and vegetarian pizzas complemented by a range of delicious sides. The combination a winner for your wedding dinner.
Love curry? Meet Yo India serves up all the most delicious of curries alongside koftas, skewers, sliders and they’ll even whip up Mango lassi’s. They travel all over Victoria, though they’re based in Melbourne, their event packages starting at $15.
Bringing Indian street food all around Melbourne, Two Fat Indians‘ food truck focuses on fresh produce and brings in the charm of their restaurant, to the streets. They love an event and will custom build your menu with favourites like samosas, curry, and even mango lassi’s.
Nothing beats a toasted sandwich, and Toasta have turned theirs into delicious, decadent gourmet delights into food truck fare. They’ll design a custom menu because they love weddings! Based in Melbourne.
Primo Pizza serves up oven-fresh pizzas all over Melbourne in traditional Italian style form their beloved “Big Bertha”. They have three packages to choose from, starting at $25 per head with a minimum of 50 guests. They’ll even dish out delicious dessert pizza!
Sweet Mistake honours time-honoured recipes dishing out beautiful traditional Greek desserts from their truck. They’ll fill your wedding guests with Loukoumades with all kinds of toppings, bougatsa, halva and so much more.
Turf Wagon dishes up Greek-style street food for weddings and events. The little red van’s menu including souvlakis with beautifully cooked lamb shoulder – these are their specialty, the delicious wraps of warm pita filled with homemade salads, saganaki cheese and homemade tzatziki.
Argentinian food truck Señor Churro is loved, obviously for their hot churros, but they also serve up traditional savoury favourites like Choripan & mac and cheese. They’re Melbourne based but happily travel.
Prettily painted Coco Joes makes 100% vegan icecream! They make old fashioned style ice cream out of coconut milk and they’ll serve it up in all of their delicious flavours at your wedding. These guys are Melbourne based.
Short Batch Ice Cream Co. brings their little icecream cart to weddings all over Melbourne (and even beyond!). The cart holds four flavours, though we’re not sure how you’ll choose considering the offerings – Apple Crumble, Caramelised Fig, Pear & Burnt Caramel and so, so many more. Packages start at $745.
Burn City Smokers could be counted as some of the pros of low and slow smoking. Their chicken? Marinated for 48 hours, Their brisket? Smoked for 14 hours. They can serve a custom menu however you like it. Wedding packages start at $3000 and the teams will travel from Melbourne.
Serving up old school burgers, shakes and fries throughout Melbourne Beatbox Kitchen, loves an event. The truck can cater to all kinds of weddings with classic, much-loved fare.
Sweet Forbidden Journey is all about dessert and plenty of it! The food truck offering up ice cream sandwiches, sundaes, popsicles, mousse and so much more. Event packages, out of Melbourne start at $10 per person.
The Brulee Cart with their sweet tricycle is the one to book if you have a penchant for that crispy brulee top. The Melbourne based food truck will serve your classic, of course, but they have an additional six flavours, including “Salty Sailor” a salted caramel brulee complete with popcorn garnish. Pricing starts at $720.
A good old fashioned schnitzel is the expertise of fun food truck Von Crumb. This Melbourne food truck offering up schnitzels with every kind of coating you can dream of (buttermilk, crumbed and so many more). Served up in rolls, bowls and of course, with optional chips.
Geelong based Sticks and Bones BBQ bring their low and slow barbeque to weddings and events all over Victoria. They have three menus to choose from- classic BBQ Japanese style and a vegan option and will customise it all to suit your event.
Boss Burger Co create classic, old-style burgers alongside delicious milkshakes, hot dogs, ribs and fries And the best part? You can hire them for your wedding! These guys are based out of Geelong and happily travel.
Cornutopia serves up delish fresh Mexican inspired cuisine from their little black truck. They can cater to any dietary requirement. Based in Melbourne, they will travel, along with their burritos, quesadillas, tacos and guacamole.
Get sliders on your wedding menu with the Sliders On Tyres food truck. With classics like beef cheeseburgers and more fancy offerings like BBQ pork, these guys cater weddings with three different menus. They have a bunch of delicious sides (wings, croquettes, chips and salads) and of course, dessert!
Dhaba Curry Truck is a delicious curry-based offering that serves up amazing Indian cuisine. Their fun curry truck happily caters events with their sought after menu. Based out of Kyneton.
The bright red charm of Dos Diablos is sure to turn heads, and wait until your guests try their Mexican fare! Tacos from this place are my favourite, but they’re also a dab hand at quesadillas and other favourites. Melbourne based but do travel.
LIl Nom Noms create their own style of Vietnamese street food. They dish up delicious treats like bao, rice paper rolls, salads spring rolls and even won tons out of their black truck. They have three event packages to choose from along with a delicious dessert menu.
Biggie Smalls dishes out kebabs hot and tasty at weddings and events, but if that isn’t quite your jam, they have a cocktail style grazing menu and will custom design the food choices to suit you (including dietary requirements). They’re based out of Collingwood but travel all over Victoria.
Specialists in curry, The Curry Truck brings curries from all of the world (including Indian style, Indonesian style and Tahi style) alongside biryani, samosas, of course, chips. These guys happily cater functions and are based in Melbourne.
Serving up Mexican street food hot and fresh, Poncho will bring their delicious nachos, tacos, taquitos and quesadillas. Owner Jenny fulfilling her dream to bring original family recipes to Melbourne-ites! These guys happily cater weddings and even adjust menus for allergies!
if you want to serve up an Italian feast like Nonna’s, well you need to book Just Like Nonna’s for your wedding! They’ll bring all your favourites- baked mushroom, arancini, eggplant involtini, bruschetta and even ravioli. They” happily cater weddings and events with packages starting a $15 per head.
You’ve got dinner sorted, but what about dessert? Enter 196Below Dessert Truck. These guys know dessert and they’ll bring their customisable ice cream to your wedding! They have four packages to pick from and all of them include staff and of course, dessert!
Korean inspired cuisine is on the menu with bright yellow Bibimbap Food Truck will rock up to your event with favourites like K- Fried chicken,and rice bowls. They’re based in the CBD and travel.
The Real Jerk, serves up Jamaican inspired cuisine starting at $35 per head. Twice cooked fried chicken, jerk chicken, ribs and curries all bring a little Jamaican flavour to your wedding. Based in Melbourne.
Bring piping hot fish and chips to your wedding feast with Chef Calamari. This food truck cooking up all kinds of fresh seafood into favourites like fish and chips, but also tacos, calamari and of course fries. They cater all over Melbourne.
Sparrows Philly Steaks is based out of Melbourne and serve their cheesesteaks, hot sandwiches, fried chicken and sides fresh from their yellow and black van. This menu? Sure to keep your guests not just full but talking about your wedding’s menu for years to come.
Honey Dee Loukoumades serve up delicious Greek Loukoumades from their truck, all around Melbourne & Geelong, using traditional family recipes. This crew will bring their doughnuts, with bespoke flavoured toppings along to your wedding to wow your guests.
The sweet ice cream cart of Something Sweet Gelato will bring plenty of delicious, beautifully made gelato your wedding. There are six packages to choose from, starting at $498 and this crew? Based out of Northcote.
Serving up Taiwanese street food, Ghost Kitchen dishes out traditional Taiwanese flavours and techniques in dishes like Taiwanese pancakes, popcorn chicken dumplings and sausage. They love a wedding and are based out of Melbourne.
We’ll 100% get behind Crepes For Change. This truck is not just full of amazing food, but they’re a social enterprise designed to help youth homelessness. Every booking goes towards the cause and they make amazing crepes too – it’s such a win-win! Based out of Melbourne.
Gorgeous Mabel, the truck of Bluebonnet BBQ brings their delicious smoked low and slow dishes to your wedding menu. Think brisket, pulled pork and sausages alongside slaw, cornbread and potatoes. The team is based out of Brunswick but will travel anywhere with Mabel.
Hanging out for pasta? Pasta Face has you covered! This food truck to events with their amazing gourmet pasta filled menu. They can start you off with Italian inspired fare like croquettes and gnocchi before the star of the show, the pasta comes out piping hot. With topping like gorgonzola, spinach and ricotta and so much more, your pasta lovers will adore you.
Serving up beautiful fresh seafood Twisted Fisherman will bring their famous lobster rolls, fresh fish and chips and even beautiful red snapper ceviche. They have several packages for weddings and events and are based in Melbourne.
Vietnamese street food van Nuoc Mama’s will bring their colourful van to events all over Melbourne. These guys make favourites based on old family recipes (grandmother approved!). Think satay skewers, noodle salads, prawn fritters and so much more. They can cater to any dietary requirement and customise menus to suit your event.
Everyone loves a cannoli and so we’re pretty sure the delicious wonder that is Melbourne food truck Eat Cannoli. This vintage caravan serving up beautiful cannoli that they can even custom make in your own flavour, The best part? They’re gluten-free!
Smokin Barrys are masters of low and slow style BBQ. There’s a reason after all these guys say you don’t need teeth to eat their fare. They offer up six packages for weddings, starting at $25 per head and including their meat-filled long rolls, nachos and sliders.
