This time, we’ve got wedding food trucks & carts in South Australia! Adelaide and South Australia have a special kind of charm and the food trucks? They’re just as special. From international cuisine to old favourites like burgers and ice cream. Scroll on down for all this sweet state’s offerings!
Bodri’s Taste Of Hungary™ – The Mobile Artisan Bakery & Cafe offer delectable Hungarian pastries and baked goods. Made from high-quality natural ingredients, the Kurtosh Kalach (or Chimney Cake) is a specialty along with Langallo a pizza that is one of the most well-known street foods in Hungary. Along with coffee and tea, these would be perfect for hungry guests post wedding ceremony.
Taco lovers rejoice! Tacocat is on the money with very popular wedding option offering up tacos served out of a cute 1960’s caravan in Adelaide. With fast efficient service, they serve everything from platters to a range of flavourful meat, chicken, bean or fish tacos and even Mexican wedding cookies for dessert.
Staazi & Co – The Greek Vegan Project
Staazi & Co – The Greek Vegan Project does exactly what it says – amazing Greek food vegan style! The truck serving up 100% plant-based meals like yiros, loaded fries, moussaka and even spanakopita.
A little South American fun for you as we introduce La Chiva. Committed to delivering the South American street food experience to the citizens of South Australia, from pork chorizo burgers to rice with oven-roasted chicken (with chicharrones – pork crackling chunks), this brightly painted bus brings the South American heritage mixed with South Australian produce along with music to your next event for the full experience.
The chicest caravan you’ve ever met, Daisy Burger is an Adelaide burger van the serves the classic meat-based burgers and sliders or veggie burgers (which sound yummy with mushroom and halloumi on a brioche bun). Cheeseburgers or 18 hours pulled beef burger are just two of the burgers on the menu and they offer packages from 20 to 100+ person packages.
Something different, Moorish Bites serves up real Moroccan street food for the people of Adelaide, run by a trained chef from Morocco! Fresh and affordable with beautiful spice blends tempting the taste buds, this distinctive food truck offers a halal street food and catering alternative, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options for public events & private catering.
Elegance in black, Cucina Cafone brings their beautiful truck, which hides a wood-fired pizza oven to events all over South Australia. Their packages include any of their beautiful gourmet pizza recipes and the team can customise their menu to suit you.
With decor inspired by Hollywood Art Deco The Speakeasy Hotel‘s 1950s, blue caravan serves SA beer and wine and travels fully stocked to your event (or you can arrange BYO with the team). Extras may include cocktails or a gin bar, and the 3 sisters who run this bar also cater, supplying delicious food from grazing tables to mains and desserts.
Toasted sandwiches are one of my absolute favourite things so I am a huge fan of the idea of Flat Iron Toastie Truck serving up a wedding meal! Think toasties, loaded fries and plenty of deliciousness!
If you can dream of a cart, chances are Gathering Events probably can bring it to your wedding. Alongside a vintage caravan bar, these guys offer up their vintage caravan bar to serve up drinks at your wedding. But that’s not all – from popcorn carts, to icecream carts, to coffee carts – these guys can bring to life your food cart vision in the most gorgeous of ways!
Sookii La La with their South-East Asian street food cuisine is always a firm favourite for weddings. Thinking dumplings and spring rolls, rice noodle salads and deliciousness like Katsu Kari!
Wood-fired pizza is always an amazing idea for a wedding dinner, so luckily South Australia has
Woody The Wood Oven Wagon! Starting at a per person rate, the van (and its wife Wilma) serve up wood-fired pizza and street food style offerings. They can even serve it up!
Doughnuts anyone? Van Dough and their sweet blue caravan may just cause a minor stampede when they whip out their jam-filled doughnuts at your wedding! They’ve got all the fan favourites (sprinkles and hot cinnamon doughnuts) and they’re all beautifully fresh. Wedding dessert perhaps?
A retro bike to deliver your ice cream? Meet Barossa Valley Ice Cream, they have three beautiful bikes (Pearl, Gino and Woodley) available to bring their ice cream, made from scratch using local ingredients to your wedding! Sign us up for this one, please!
Chimichurri Grill specialises in Argentinian food – think steak with chimichurri sauce along with chips – this self-contained food truck with vegan and gluten-free options available. The choripan the Argentinian version of the sausage sandwich is also popular served from this brightly coloured van.
Coffee, tea and sweet treats? Meet Audrey Vintage Cafe is a cafe- in a gorgeous vintage caravan! And of course at every cafe are beautiful cakes and pastries and Audrey knows how to make even the strongest guest say yes to cake!
Delectaballs has a passion for the perfect meatball! This food truck even serves vegetarian, vegan and sweet meatballs. Served from Mr Darcy, a meatball dish or two served to your hungry guests will be sure to satisfy cravings for the perfect ball.
In blue and white, Vintage Caravan Bar is ready to serve up bubbles to your guests. Offering both dry and full service with their packages, the team even have a sweet prosecco cart to join the fun.
If you need to feed a crowd, consider The Taste Of Spain, this Spanish food truck can feed a crowd! Paella, always fantastic for bigger guests lists can accompany other treats for your wedding feast like Sangria and of course, dessert churros.
Love a good hotdog? Then this van is for you. Out of a sparkling vintage airstream, Papa’s Gourmet Hotdogs serves delights such as Chilli cheese Kransky with caramelized onions, melted cheese, diced bacon and German sauerkraut with ketchup and mustard – these are not just your ordinary hotdog – they are a hotdog with the lot.
We’re big fans of post-wedding tipples, and The Tipsy Gypsy is a licensed travelling bar servicing Adelaide, Barossa Valley, The Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula. They come fully stocked with alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages or you have a BYO option, offering different packages which include qualified bar people, or you may opt for just the van and glassware.
With Asian food, satay sensations and Oz-Asian fusion food, The Satay Hut can set up anywhere in South Australia. You’ll not miss it with its distinctive bamboo hut decor.
Bavarian Grill serves up traditional Bavarian foods such as sauerkraut with bratwurst, schnitzels and slow-cooked German goulash accompanied by potato salad or coleslaw appealing for its hearty food, this truck is just the thing for weddings and events.
Summer weddings are made for ice cream! And we’re thrilled to add Evercream to our list. Consider this icecream van (or they have a cute pink cart available too) providing ice creams, sorbets, cups, waffle cones, napkins and spoons. Choose from fig and walnut or salted caramel, or sorbet flavours of passionfruit or lychee to name a few, perfect for a hot wedding day.
Gourmet Grillerz serves up grilled favourites. Beautifully cooked hot dogs, burgers, wraps and meatballs. Think your favourite afternoon BBQ, turned gourmet! They even have vegan offerings for your plant-based guests.
Nothing quite compares to the thrill of a sweet icecream cart rocking up and St Louis with it’s tiny black and white cart fits the bill! This mobile bike (complete with umbrella) can cater u to 300 guests with your choice of flavour (including frozen yoghurts and dairy-free options).
We’re thinking the Old School Bus is just the ticket for a retro wedding. Reminisce about school days when you see this bright yellow bus serving fish and chips, and fish fillet burgers with drinks to quench your thirst.
If you love strawberries you’ll love the food served from this cute van, Strawberries Galore. Everything is centred around the mighty red berry with mousse, milkshakes, pavlova, ice cream and pancakes – just the thing for dessert of the post-wedding ceremony!
Serving all things Italian, Feisty Filomena recreates recipes from the family’s mum’s treasure trove of well-loved dishes such as arancini and lasagne.
Orexi is a food truck offering the quintessential Greek cuisine including souvlaki, saganaki, Greek salad honouring the owner’s Greek heritage. Kali orexi (good appetite!) indeed!
Got a sweet tooth? Sweet Life serves up gelatos, sundaes, milkshakes, thick shakes and smoothies with flavours such as Caramel, Coffee, Vegan Coco Milk, Mango, Sour Cherry and more – perfect for a summer wedding!
Haddo’s Hot Dogs
Haddo’s Hot Dogs was inspired by a hotdog eaten in Arizona that was so good it wasn’t forgotten, the owners have spent time perfecting the experience of a great ole American hotdog with a SA touch!
Serving up everything sausages, Wienerbago accompanies their cheese Kransky and bratwurst rolls with meat plates and plenty of pommes frites! A little bit of Germany on your wedding menu perhaps?
They’ve got a popular eatery, so you know Mullygrub know a thing or two about good food. The McClaren Vale food truck serve up beautifully catered delights (they can even help with wait staff and use recyclable crockery) that focus on local, fresh produce.
The little brother to the restaurant, Zak’s On Wheels offers a mobile van with everyone’s favourites- burgers! In mobile style. They even have a vegan option (along with chips of course).
From sliders (with options like maple bacon) to loaded sweet potato friends, Off Tapas Catering, love a good wedding! Being tapas-style, everything is easy for guests to eat with a drink in one hand- they even do dessert!
Want drinks and food? Caroclub has both their food van and their bar (Carobar!) to bring to your wedding. These guys focus on street style food- think burgers, skewers, wings, sliders and other tasty treats. They can bring to life dessert bars and share plates too.
Loaded chips, that’s the name of the game with Chipalicious. These guys know loaded fries and will serve them up at weddings. Think flavours like satay beef, pulled pork and pulled chicken!
From The Butlers Pantry is a fabulous accompaniment to a food truck. This drinks van, in modern black and white (with an awning, of course) does coffee, bar, even gelato service for your wedding.
