In a world of marsala and gold, it’s always a must, in our books, to showcase colour that might sway you into something a little different, something maybe more ‘you’. So today’s modern romantic wedding ideas with pale blue were just the ticket.

As part of their three day “wedding academy” for up and coming wedding planners, the team at Ivy & Bleu designed and curated the concept working with their students (KL Weddings & Events,  Belinda Claire, AJ Weddings, Parties & Events and Joanne Holyoak) to create a look that was, in their words “soft and dreamy with a touch of contemporary.” The dream team of Bryce and Lauren capturing it all.

The softest shade of beautiful blue dressed the table, surrounded with classic white chairs, pieces from Hampton Event Hire and Innovative Hiring. Soft white crockery topped the table, which was adorned with grey linen napkins, carefully handwritten place cards from White Letter Stationery, grey taper candles and lush white blooms in cement inspired vessels. The finishing touch of paper flowers from Paper Jewels adding a beautiful sense of whimsy.

Our model, Lilly Kleinn of Busy Models dressed in a style that spoke of the shoot, a modernly elegant look with a gown by Emmy Mae, made over by Facescape Make Up and finally, carrying a lush bouquet tied with pale blue silk ribbon from Songbird Silk.

And because one must always have cake, Petal & Peach created decadent white cakes and sweet treats to enjoy. The most delicious finishing touch to the editorial that spoke of fresh, contemporary beauty.
