If the last few years have brought to life anything, it’s been the festival style wedding and for summer brides and grooms, what better way to make the most of wide blue skies and warmer days?
From tipis to smoke bombs, decadent cakes, sparkling champagne and lush florals, today’s dream team embodied the festival wedding and brought it to life in a styled shoot packed with ideas.
Captured by Lindy Yewen Photography Glamacamp Noosa pitched their tipi at beautiful Queensland’s Beach Road Holiday Homes and set about styling up a storm. Our bride, model Darcy Botter was dressed in a boho-inspired off the shoulder gown, a softly curled up-do by Noosa Hairdressers adorned with flowers, complementing the bright makeup look by Photo Finish Makeup.
Arriving by vintage car, Birti The Bentley, our bride and groom (Sean Pateman) were wed by Patricia Quinn with a hand binding ceremony by Jacqueline Gray to seal the deal.
The flowers by Naturelle Floral Design a bright and beautiful standout, copper-toned cymbidium orchids paired with rust anthurium, burgundy dahlias, plum hellebores and even a touch of blue delphinium
A lazy afternoon unfolded, under the open sky, the newlyweds and their guests surrounded by soft cushions, antique props, lazy low tables, vintage lounge furniture and plenty of mismatched decor. The finishing touches? Delicious treats by Something for Catering, beautiful cakes by Buttercups Cupcakes and a few fun captures thanks to the In The Booth photo booth.
Photographer Lindy telling of their inspiration “With the arrival of the warmth, we thought it would be fun to create an intimate outdoor soiree. A rich colour palette of ambers, reds, greens and blacks combined with soft spring florals in tones of peach, pink and sage. Leather, timbers, bamboo, rattan and wicker injected with flourishes of designs in brass, coloured glass and crystal.”
