Always advise your Celebrant of your dress code, particularly if it’s black tie. It’s not uncommon for couples to decide on their dress code a while after they have met with their Celebrant so if this wasn’t confirmed at the meeting stage, send them a quick email before the day letting them know. That way they can dress appropriately and won’t look out of place and your ceremony photos will be consistent with the rest of your day.
