Barely out of the honeymoon period herself – and expecting a new addition to the family too (congratulations Anna!) – bridal gown designer Anna Campbell can’t help but be looking towards a bountiful future. At the same time, her 2018 collection “Eternal Heart” marks the 10th anniversary for her label. With that comes an inevitable period of reflection on the past decade of a career of dressing her “bohemian, free-spirited” brides.
Anna tasked photographer Jessica Apap and hairstylist and makeup artist Melonie Santos with bringing Eternal Heart, as worn by Britt Rose Nicholas, to vivid life. Meanwhile, Flos Botanical Studio provided vintage-inspired floral accents that looked freshly-plucked from an old-fashioned English garden. The collection itself, in keeping with the 10th anniversary milestone, is drawn somewhat from the Anna Campbell archives. Fan-favourite signatures abound such as silk tied in bows to abundant beading to striking, statement lace at the back.
The designer reflects “reaching the 10-year mark with Anna Campbell feels like such an incredible achievement! Naturally, it has been a roller-coaster of highs and lows along the way, but the name of this collection – Eternal Heart – reflects the passion, hard work and love for Anna Campbell that
continues to be felt not only by myself but also by our entire studio team here in Melbourne, as well as our global network of Anna Campbell stockists and our brides themselves!”
The “Eternal Heart” collection by Anna Campbell is available now.
