Dayne & Ben

I am a big fan of gorgeous romantic photographs and this intimate bedroom love shoot of Dayne & Ben captured by  Ine Andrea Ertvaag encapsulates the beauty of those moments when it’s just the two of you in your most favourite space.

Dayne and Ben actually met as children. “Our parents are good friends, so Ben and I have known each other since we were little, but hadn’t seen each other for years and years.

I went to stay in his parent’s houseboat one weekend with my dad and little brothers, and Ben happened to be there with his parents – his band was playing at the local pub that night. I knew from the moment I saw him, he would a major part of my life! Two years later, there has been plenty of ups and downs, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! We have learnt we are unbreakable!”

Dayne, who is the floral designer Dayne Tyler Floriart created the bedroom space in her warehouse, telling  “The bed was made from pallets, and old suitcases functioned as nightstands. Throw in a bunch of flowers and some doonas, and voila!”

On what she loves about Ben, Dayne tells ” He absolutely drives me crazy with how annoying he can be, but that’s why I love him – he is my fun, spontaneous, gentle giant!

Ben is my soulmate, he protects me, cares for me, and loves me for the imperfect, stubborn, creative soul that I am! He challenges and pushes me to be the best version of myself!”

On their photographer, Dayne remarks “We both had so much fun! She was amazing and we loooooove the photos! We kept looking at them over and over. We were both quite nervous, but afterwards, Ben couldn’t stop talking about how much fun he had.”
