So often, when it comes to industrial spaces we are taken to places of dramatic, neutral and metallic tones and so, when this industrial wedding inspiration shoot with pastels landed in in our inbox, it was an inspiring take on creating a different kind of look in what can be a stark, gritty space,.
A team of photographer Arianna Harry, floral designer Fir Floral Design , cake designer Miss Ladybird Cakes along with a hair and makeup artist Makeup Artistry by Kate and gown designer Always and Forever Bridal worked together to transform the industrial space of raw wood floors and white walls into a flower filled, beautifully styled space.
The pastels hues of the warehouse location inspired the team, who matched the elements of design- from the stunning flower arch, gold painted cake and elegant tablescape to the soft hues of the space.
Floral designer Alexandra notes “The shoot is delicate and feminine, with hints of the old world. We focused heavily on varying textures to create an ethereal feel. We wanted to contrast the rough hardwood floors, and worn out painted brick walls of the warehouse, with the delicate flowers and lace in the gown.”
