What is your favourite wedding theme?

My favourite wedding theme is soft floral garden.

What inspires you?

I’m obviously inspired when I see beautiful fabrics and laces, although I often find inspiration in unusual places too, just love looking at vintage fashion and jewellery, old movies, architecture, culture and travel…nature….I absolutely adore the ocean, for me that is my ultimate recharge and inspiration flows!

What is special about weddings to you?

I feel really blessed to be a part of such a special moment in peoples lives, weddings are a celebration of love and commitment…I’m a hopeless romantic at heart!

When I see the happiness and confidence of a woman wearing one of my creations and I know they are heading off to marry the love of their lives looking absolutely fabulous I feel so satisfied I can’t imagine doing anything else!

 What is the one tool of your trade that you can’t live without?

My beautiful Swiss Scissors.

What are you excited about right now?

I’m working on my latest collection….very exciting times ahead!

What is your favourite image of all time? 

I’m all about images, so it’s almost impossible to have a favourite of all time…..I absolutely love this shot of Grace Kelly on her wedding day, absolutely timeless elegance!

What is your Number 1 tip for brides and grooms?

Don’t sweat the little things…..when you’re feeling overwhelmed try to remember what it’s all about and roll with it. There’s always a hiccup or two along the way, focus on all of the positives!

What is a special personal talent you possess? 

When I’m not sewing I love cooking, life drawing and oil painting…planning to spend some break time creating.

Where is your favourite place to escape to for downtime and why?

I would have to say anywhere near the ocean, I especially love Bilgola, Palm Beach and Whale Beach, for me even spending the day there feels like I’ve been on a holiday!
