Kate & Keith

I love nothing more than a glass of wine with the setting sun, so I was a little more than enamoured with this stunning sunset engagement by Keepsake Photo at the beautiful Pialligo Estate. Glasses of wine in hand, Kate and Keith took some time to celebrate not only their love of wine, but the beginning of the next stage of their lives together.

The happy couple met through work, the bride to be remembering “I was a Wine Rep and Keith was one of my customers. The Wine Industry is a very social one, so at a work function we got talking… and as they say, the rest is history!”

As someone who loves nothing more than this kind of Saturday night, I loved the story of what Kate and Keith love about one another, as told by Kate herself.  “Without getting too soppy, we’re absolutely the best of friends – we love the same things, we have the same ideals. Our perfect Saturday evening is hanging out at home with our dog, cooking up a storm and opening up a good bottle of wine – is that lame???”

The groom kept the proposal romantic and beautiful, Kate remembering “For Keith’s birthday, we had arranged dinner at one of our favourite restaurants in Canberra. Right after the main course, he popped the question!”

“We’re really into wine and food – plus we love the outdoors! So what better place than the vineyard and olive grove at Canberra’s amazing Pialligo Estate. We were quite unsure of how we were going to feel in front of the camera so it was important that we be somewhere private – it was perfect!”
