After all the planning and the big day itself, it’s time to honeymoon! Beginning your married life together in the stunning Whitsundays, you’ll discover there are so many romantic experiences you enjoy together!
Adventure Road Trip
What better way to explore the region together than jumping in a hire car and cruising along the scenic coastal roads, taking in the spectacular views. Take the trip to Bowen – mango capital of Australia and experience some of the country’s most beautiful untouched beaches – Horseshoe Bay and Queens Beach – just to name a couple. Shaded by palm trees there are plenty of areas for secluded sunbathing, rocks for exploring and even snorkelling within the stunning coral surrounds.
Take a photo together in front of the Big Mango before stopping into Le Sorelle for a bite to eat whether it be an item off the all day breakfast menu, home-made decadent dessert or some of their famous gourmet fudge accompanied with the best coffee in the region! Be sure to grab a special takeaway jar of fudge for the car trip home!
Romantic Picnic at Cedar Creek Falls
Located approximately 20 minutes from Airlie Beach, Cedar Creek Falls is a hidden gem within the Whitsundays. Explore the walking tracks surrounding the falls and be sure to bring a rug, picnic lunch and your bathers to enjoy a day by the water’s edge including a swim under the streaming natural waterfall. If you are lucky, the area is also known to have wild turtles swim in its waters which would be a treat for anyone to encounter!
Candlelit Dinner at Coral Sea Resort
Positioned on absolute oceanfront, Coral Sea Resort offers several romantic dining options including their stunning Gazebo. This intimate dining experience, available for up to six guests, lets you enjoy a candlelit dinner under the stars as you gaze across Pioneer Bay. A private butler is on hand to ensure your every request is met on a night you’ll never forget.
Have a laugh together and explore the region zooming around on two wheels! Choose to explore with your loved one the spectacular Conway National Park Rainforest where you will ride deep into the tropical rainforest, observe the native flora and fauna and relax with morning tea included, by the crystal clear waters of Impulse Creek.
If the oceanfront is more to your liking, a Segway Tour is also available along the Bicentennial Boardwalk which overlooks stunning Pioneer Bay, Airlie Beach. Glide along the boardwalk past Coral Sea Marina, Shingley Beach and through to Cannonvale Beach. On the return trip, stop in at the Garden Bar where you can enjoy sumptuous tapas dishes with a cocktail in hand whilst watching the sun set on a magical day.
