Mia & Jon’s Frolic by the Seaside Engagement

We fell in love with Mia and Jon’s engagement photos the minute we saw them. A warm, sunny afternoon, a secluded beach and the sweetest, four-legged addition to their shoot – what is there not to love? Kelly Adams Photography accompanied the couple and their dog Frankie to Bribie Island to capture this frolic by the seaside engagement session.

Of how they met, Mia remembers, “We met on New Year’s Eve, at an event in Brisbane. We spoke all night and shared a midnight kiss…” And of Jon’s proposal, she tells, “He proposed at my favourite gelato store in Rosalie on a Saturday afternoon. We had gelato on our first date. He had also planned a night away, and dinner at Aria.”

Their relationship has not been without its cheeky moments! Mia tells of the time she tricked Jon into looking at puppies… and they ended up getting one! “He’s three now and his name is Frankie” she laughs. The couple chose to include Frankie in their shoot with Kelly Adams. “We wanted our engagement photos to feel natural and warm. Frankie loves the beach, and he really helps bring out the joy in every situation so we wanted him to be a very important element in our photos.”
