If you’re a vintage lover, or just a lover of love then the vintage Fremantle engagement photos of Ally & Andrew captured by Christine Lim .
I love that this couple, who adore all things of yesteryear stayed true to their own hearts and created an engagement session that suited just who they are. Ally remarking, “We both live a very vintage inspired lifestyle so we wanted our engagement photos to show that. We chose Fremantle as the scene because the streets are lined with beautiful old steps and buildings which made it fun to run around being the goof balls we are. The result was exactly what we wanted, relaxed, true to us and in classic vintage style. Our photographer Christine Lim is absolutely amazing.”
Ally tells, “Simply put, we met online! Both of us were not avid users of dating sites but somehow managed to find each other during the time we were both on rsvp.”
On what she loves about Andrew, Ally tells, “I love how creative and passionate Andrew is, not only towards his projects but in the way he lives his life, he always makes me feel loved and supported.”
“We found it a little hard to pin point just one funny story to share with you all, we both have silly and playful personalities so our day-to-day life is pretty hilarious. Mostly we like to surprise each other so birthdays and anniversaries are always fun. I once drove Andrew all the way down to the Stirling Ranges and surprised him with a night in a repurposed 1944 Dakota Airplane and Andrew surprised me on Valentines day by organising a picnic/movie night in our favourite park. He played one of our fav Elvis movies on a projector screen.”
On what he loves about his wife to be, Andrew gushes, “I love Ally’s beautiful spirit, she has the kindest & sweetest heart of any person I know. She makes me feel so loved in even the smallest ways.”
The proposal was unexpected and utterly beautiful, Ally remembering, “We had a whirlwind romance and after three months together we spent Christmas in Geelong with Andrew’s family. He proposed in Carlton Gardens a few days later under a willow tree in Melbourne as we were lying on a picnic blanket taking selfies. He snuck the ring between us and I caught sight of it glittering in my camera. I turned my head and burst into tears…he completely surprised me, we spent the next few hours crying and feeling completely overwhelmed with joy.”
