How do we celebrate love and weddings while acknowledging the heartbreaking injustices still happening around us? Where's the balance between showcasing beautiful love stories and making space for voices still fighting to be heard?⁠ ⁠ We don't have this all figured out, not even close. But here's what we do know: true representation, diversity, and inclusion remain works in progress, both in our corner of the wedding world and beyond. Sneaky unconscious biases have a way of sticking around, and far too many brilliant, creative voices from diverse backgrounds remain in the shadows.⁠ ⁠ At Polka Dot Wedding, we're set on changing that. Not just through pretty pictures and love stories, but in the nitty-gritty of how we operate: our team, our choices, our words. We want everyone (and we mean everyone) to rock up and see themselves reflected here, whether you're a couple planning your big day, a vendor sharing your craft, or just someone with wedding dreams.
