What to see and do:
A helicopter tour of Milford Sound is an absolute must! Your tour lasts one and half hours where you’ll have a few stop offs and your guide will direct you to the magnificent sights. Enjoy the rugged mountains from above and take in all that is the Fiordland National Park, a UNESCO listed site.
If you prefer keeping close to the ground, there are plenty of other ways to see Milford Sound. Real Journeys offer kayaking, bus journeys, nature cruises and an overnight cruise of the Sound. You could always mix things up a bit by flying in and stoping off for a cruise.

Why not have a snow day? Less than a 90 minute drive from Queenstown are five ski fields for you to choose from. From June to October you can ski and snowboard at these parks. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not experience some of the finest heliski routes in the world.

If you’re looking for a day of relaxation why not check out the Queenstown Spa and Wine Experience. Indulge in a spa massage of your choice and once you’re feeling rejuvenated, head off on an afternoon wine tour.
