There is a magic to today’s delicate & romantic berry wedding inspiration that is straight out of Portugal. The create team took inspiration from Portuguese writer Florbela Espanca who was the first woman in the country to obtain higher education. Her passionate life was explored through her words and set the scene for today’s shoot.
Photographer Momento Cativo teamed up with stylist Hoje é Especial, accessory designer Naturae Design and models Mafalda Banquart & Tiago Jacome at the stunning Miranda do Douro to create a beautiful concept shoot to inspire a wedding of delicate touches and plenty of romance.
Daniella of Naturae Design explains. “Our concept was based on a poem of Florbela Espanca’s, called Ruínas. It talks about how life keeps throwing our dreams to the ground, how we constantly need to keep strength to build them up again, to find new ones and how there is beauty in that constant motion of picking up the pieces to create again. These ruins seemed to be the perfect place to set a beautiful love story, it puts into contrast how delicate they are in their flesh, their feelings and hopes with the scenery, so rustic and harsh, but so stoic in its perseverance and beauty…”
Very Creative Theme. Thanks for sharing the idea.
