Chrissy & Mitch
I love nothing more than a Summer storm and the beautiful storm sets the scene for stunning clifftop Newcastle engagement photos from photographer Nicholas Joel Photography who although almost cancelling with Chrissy and Mitch due to the weather, decided to take a chance – I know you will agree it was worth it!
The lovebirds tell how they met. “We were actually set up by Chrissy’s sister and partner, both of us were invited to a barbeque that ended up being only the four of us. We chatted the night away in a chilled environment, had plenty of laughs and really enjoyed each other’s company. Funnily enough we purchased our first home together 5 years later just a few doors up from where we met.”
On what he loves about Chrissy, Mitch remarks, “I think Chrissy is extremely motivated and intelligent, she is delicate and beautiful, but when the need arises she is fierce and driven. She has a massive heart and feels everything very deeply, and she has an amazing smile. As a couple we drive each other to achieve our dreams, so far we have traveled the world visiting new places all the time, purchased our first home, welcomed our fur child Vince the boxer to the family, are now engaged and planning a wedding.”
When asked what she loves about Mitch, Chrissy tells, “Mitch is a surfer so it’s safe to say he’s a very chilled out care free guy. I love that about him, he takes each day as it comes with a fresh outlook. He’s also such a positive person to be around.”
Of their, very romantic and sweet proposal story, Mitch tells, “It was the night before Chrissy’s birthday and ended up getting takeaway and eating it at our favourite beach lookout at Redhead. I took a nice bottle of champagne and glasses wrapped up in a picnic blanket and laid it out while Chrissy was looking at the sunset. When she turned around I was on one knee. I was so nervous I forgot my whole speech.”
Chrissy adds, “The best thing about the location is that it’s around the corner from home so we go back all the time and reminisce . We have traveled the world and Mitch couldn’t have picked a better place – it was perfect!”
