Janine & Matthew
Janine and Matthew’s romantic Vaucluse House Tearooms wedding, captured by Nicholas Joel Photography has the most elegant atmosphere. From the flower covered archway dripping with Marsala tones the couple wed under, to the bride’s chic gown and stunning long veil. It’s a beautiful celebration to dive right on into.
Oh Me Oh My Botanica styled the floral arrangements for the day. The bride remarking, “The wedding florals by Oh Me Oh My Botanica were stunning. The floral arch, bouquet and arrangements within the reception (including on the cake) were so beautiful, our guests talk about them to this very day. Rosie from Oh Me Oh My Botanica did such a wonderful job.”
The couple chose Jasmine Strings to play during their ceremony and to play Janine down the aisle, she remembers, “Our string quartet played Liebesträume No. 3 by Franz Liszt, which translates roughly to Love’s Dream. One of my favourite pieces.”
Janine describes the ceremony, which was officiated by Lauren Revell as “Short and heartfelt. We did not want a long, traditional ceremony. Our celebrant was fabulous and helped us to design the ceremony we wanted.”
Of their photographer, Janine remarks, “We chose Nicholas Joel to be our wedding photographer because we wanted someone to capture the day in a very candid style. Nicholas was so warm and talented, he was such an easy choice.”
Janine chose a gown by Suzanne Harward, remembering, “My gown was by Suzanne Harward. I wanted a simple, classic silhouette and Suzanne’s designs are so timeless. The entire experience was amazing, from the penthouse trunk show to my final fittings.”
For their first dance, the bride and groom chose Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”.
Janine and Matt chose Light Noise Films to capture a film of their wedding day, with all the magic and romance included.
Congratulations Janine and Matthew on your marriage. Thank you to Nicholas Joel Photography for sharing this lovely wedding with us today.
