Lauren & Shane
I adore the romance of the ocean and Lauren and Shane’s romantic ocean side engagement photos captured by Trent And Jessie certainly do the trick. Charcoal grey rocks against the deep indigo blue of the ocean is always an incredible sight, but when you add in a couple who are so very in love? It’s positively magic.
Lauren tells, “Shane and I met in a coffee shop. Shane literally bumped into me and then said “you look beautiful”. I replied “thank you” and then we both walked away. 8 months later we were engaged, and 8 months after that we got married! I guess when you know you know!”
On what they love about one another, Lauren tells, “We love that we are both complete opposites! Shane is literally everything I am not, and I am everything he is not! We both have different strengths and weaknesses but it balanced us out absolutely perfectly! We couldn’t have it any better! Shane is one of the most humble, determined, chivalrous and most handsome man I have ever met! ”
“We have endless amounts of stories! During the beginning of our dating season, when it was all new and you’re on your best behaviour.
We were driving out to the movies and I was sitting with my knees up on the seat and then mid conversation Shane meant to hit the accelerator but instead he slammed on the brakes harder than I’ve ever felt in my life and my teeth drove straight into my knee cap and he felt so bad and I was awkwardly trying to convince him I was fine when I was freaking out inside that I’m was going to loose my front teeth.”
Wrapped Up Media captured a film of Lauren and Shane’s proposal, Lauren telling, “Shane proposed on the top of my favourite hill where I used to go all the time alone to paint, draw, sing or journal. Shane didn’t really know much about this hill which is why it is so incredible to look back on!
