With Summer well and truly here it’s a beautiful thing to see weddings full of gorgeous natural elements, plenty of colour and embracing their surroundings, which is exactly the mood behind the elegant orchard wedding inspiration shoot.
Photographer Peggy Saas tells of the inspiration behind the shoot. “Orchard blossoms in the Perth Hills tempt us with the first sign of spring. The promise of fresh flowers whilst basking in the warm sun offers the perfect surroundings for a wedding. This was our inspiration for our beautiful spring shoot among the promise of blossoms.”
Peggy teamed up with stylist I Heart Table Art , bridal salon, Truvelle from Through The White Door , hair & makeup artist, The Pretty Parlour, florist Botanica Naturalis, stationer White Ink Design Co, cake designers De La Rosa Cakes and Le Petit Macaron model Taryn Leila with styling props from The Vintage Table, Chandelabra and Heart Strings & Pretty Things at the stunning Core Cider House to create a styled shoot of pale blue, white and gold with classic French furniture set among the bare trees in the orchard.
Peggy notes, “Sweet bride Taryn, with dewy make up and a loose braid by The Pretty Parlour , wanders the orchard in a flowing Truvelle gown from Through The White Door . Her oversized bouquet of pink blossoms by Botanica Naturalis epitomises spring.”
Peggy tells, “Reminiscent of dining in an enchanted wood, the incredible table garland fashioned by Botanica Naturalis from surrounding pine trees, ranunculus and white orchids completes the glamorous table setting. White Ink Design Co created the romantic French inspired wedding stationery in crisp white and dusty blue. ”
The table was beautifully set for an elegant outdoor celebration, Peggy explaining, “A stunning Marie Antoinette inspired wedding cake is the centrepiece of this beautiful dessert table, complete with delicate cupcakes and gold rimmed cookies, all created by De La Rosa Cakes & Cupcakes, and macarons brushed with gold by Le Petit Macaron, which were all displayed on pure white milk glass. Sparkling vintage china and tableware from The Vintage Table including gold cutlery, gold rimmed champagne coupes and crystal candlesticks glisten in the sun.”
Great feature thank you Polka Dot Bride. Just a correction for you, the cookies and cupcakes were by De La Rosa Cakes, only the macarons were by Le Petit Macaron. Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much for your comment Tania! We just adore this shoot! So sorry for that confusion – all amended now! x Ms Rose
Thanks Ms Rose, as much as I’d love to claim that talent as my own it all goes to Amy at De La Rosa 😊
