 1. What is your favourite Christmas food?

Coming from the UK, originally it was strange to eat mangos and prawns at Christmas but now it is my favourite food on the day! It’s too hot here in Queensland for the full roast dinner!

2. What is your favourite Christmas movie?

“It’s A Wonderful Life” – a real classic!

3. Your favourite Christmas drink?

You can’t beat a good Mojito! Nice and refreshing on a hot Christmas Day.

4. Your favourite Christmas song?

“I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Clause”. I used to sing it when I was young and it always makes me smile.

5. Is there something you love to do every Christmas?

Bacon sandwiches before opening the pressies on Christmas morning.

6. How do you Deck the Halls? What is your favourite Christmas decoration?

I love a good tree and lots of beautiful fairy lights but I hate tinsel and too much clutter so it has to be matching and very stylish.

7. Do you have any Christmas family traditions?

My husband and I turn into kids on Christmas Day and like to get up as early as possible to wake up our two boys and start the day. It is an important family time for me and there is always lots of fun and laughter with all the extended family together too.

8. Do you bake at Christmas time? If yes, what are your favourite things to bake? Would you share the recipe?

I have been blessed with many talents in life but baking is not one of them! Thankfully I have a very clever brother-in-law that loves to bake ‘cup cakes’ for the family all year round and normally there are some special Christmas inspired cakes during the holidays.

9. Where will you be spending Christmas this year?

My husband Pete was brought up on Stradbroke Island;  it is a very special place for us and we are lucky enough to have a holiday home there. We love to spend our Christmas holidays on Straddie by the ocean with many friends and family staying with us. The more the merrier!

10.Where does Santa leave presents in your house?

Under the tree of course!!!!

11. What do you leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve?

A bottle of beer and a shortbread biscuit (he doesn’t seem to like milk and carrots!)
