Sunday July 19th could not have been a more perfect Winterās day in Sydney. With the mountains and highlands covered in a blanket of white, Sydney or more specifically, Whale Beach, was nothing but beaming sunshine; the perfect day for a wedding fair!

The Boat House Group Event and Wedding Fair held at Moby Dicks in Whale Beach was like no other. Welcomed by waiters with Champagne as guests entered through the front gates, the warming yet luxurious vibe of the venue floated through the air on the acoustic notes of Duke, Simon + Angela, Solganic and Tilee Music. Guests wandered through the courtyard and down to the main space, with the open plan layout of Moby Dicks creating an exciting and friendly atmosphere for the Fair ā the flowing beverages and smoked salmon pikelets also worked a treat!
An intimate and impeccable selection of premium vendors at Moby Dicks definitely showcased the best of what they do! The beautiful work of Jessie Ann Photography was on display, but there was one vendor particularly that stole my heart, and not only because of their tempting samples! Showcasing seven different flavours and designs, the cakes from Gracious Honey were absolutely delicious (Raspberry & White Chocolate anyone!?) and picture perfect! My personal favourite was the three-tiered naked cake topped with berries and flowers – absolutely beautiful!
Whether it was photography, floristry, styling, planning, hair, makeup, videography, entertainment, officiates or catering that you were searching for, there was a beautiful vendor stand to suit your every desire. The full list of vendors is below and it truly was a pleasure to see and speak to some wonderful talent!
This Fair not only gave couples the opportunity to mingle with potential vendors, they were also immersed in the service and atmosphere of Moby Dicks. With courtyard areas, panoramic ocean views and unsurpassable experience, Moby Dicks is a beautiful venue for your special day!
