If silver and sparkles are your thing, then this post of sparkling silver bridal shower ideas is just for you!
Our team of Nina Angela Photography and Flowers, Begitta, Moments in Vintage, Velbella, Cake Ninja, Invite with Style, Ally Dunlop and model Ayla Adams teamed up to create a high tea with plenty of sparkling details fit for a beautiful bridal shower.
Nina of Nina Angela Photography and Flowers not only photographed the shoot, she also styled the floral arrangements! The shoot, inspired by sparkle and glamour with florals reminiscent of garden teas evoked a palette of palette of white, soft blue, glass, silver, and mirrors. Nina used vintage silver teapots as vases, noting, “I chose the softest blue hydrangeas with white Roses and lisianthus along with delicate trails of Ivy to finish the look.”
Nina tells, “To complete the table styling we chose menu and place cards from the ‘Edwina’ range by Invite with Style. Elegantly finished in a white linen/lace cover, the floral rose print in powder blue tied in with the floral arrangements of blue hydrangea and white roses. Calligraphy on the place cards was written by Ally Dunlop.”
Cake Ninja created, “Two varieties of cupcakes, firstly, white chocolate, lemon and poppy seed cupcakes were covered in white fondant and airbrushed with a white lustre dust. They were then topped with an edible crystal jewel to compliment the cake. Secondly, melt-in-the-mouth rich vegan chocolate cupcakes were donned with a luscious swirl of vegan chocolate coconut ganache.”
Rebecca Calvert from Velbella said, ” Classic timeless beauty can only describe our gorgeous model. Soft pinks shimmer and warm hues highlighted her baby blue eyes, beneath fluttering voluminous lashes. Flushed cheeks highlighted and a kiss of pink on her lips to finish. Her stunning dark hair was styled as a creative take on a classic bun, with detailed swirls of hair encompassing her high chignon. This look will never date”.
Nina notes, “Taking tea on the dashing ‘earl grey’ sofa from Moments in Vintage, our gorgeous bride- to -be, Ayla was dressed by Begitta . Begitta Stolk said, “For this divine bridal high tea we paired two of our most favourite pieces together! Our signature Ballerina skirt with sparkly belt, in the softest of mints and our divine Audrey Chantilly-Style Lace Bodice in a soft ivory, for a fun and oh-so-chic Bridal Shower look.”
Janice Woolf from Cake Ninja provided an elegant cake worthy of wedding inspiration also. She described her cake, “This cake was all about elegance. Tall, perfectly proportioned and with just enough sparkle to make a statement. Delicate edible silver leaf was used to enhance the height of the middle tier whilst silver and crystal beading adorned the bases of the other two tiers. The whole look was set off by a stunning, over-sized peony with crystal button centre.”
Loving this look! The hydrangeas are my favourite 🙂
