I am a lover of greenery so when this modern greenery wedding inspiration shoot came my way I knew it would be beautiful to share. Lush ferns, trailing greenery and an industrial style backdrop give this shoot a look that modern edge with an almost eclectic, jungle botanical vibe. A custom poster adds a touch of fun to the reception space while the bride’s fern laden hairpiece and bouquet simply look stunning next to her simple wedding gown and the groom’s bone coloured suit.
Planned and conceived by Eva of Foreva Events, the shoot drew from Brisbane Paddington suburb, Eva explaining, “The inspiration behind the shoot was to showcase Paddington at it’s finest by involving vendors in the area or located close by.”
Photographed by Florido Weddings , the Brisbane wedding team included stylist Styled Events, florist Lillipollen, stationer Urban Weddings, cake designer Deliberately Delicious, dress designer Fiorenza, men’s tailor Wil Valor, makeup artist Ella Bache, Paddington, hair stylist Globe Creative, venue The Railroom at Iceworks and beautiful cars from Princess Luxury Classics.
The Railroom at Iceworks set the scene for the “reception”. Eva of Foreva Events who planned and executed the shoot tells “The main attraction of the shoot was set as The Railroom at Iceworks. As The Railroom’s most distinguishing feature is its gorgeous hanging greenery we had Lillipollen combine a beautiful arrangement of green and white florals along the tables to really bring it out. We also had them put together a stunning hanging ivy, fern and white floral bouquet as well as a unique floral crown.”
Deliberately Delicious created a four tier wedding cake decorated in trailing greenery.
“With the efforts of Styled Events lighting up the room with extra fairy lights and lighting up their big green walls we really made the greenery stand out and were able to give the room a new glow that brought out the poster even more.”
Urban Weddings created a custom poster for the space, Eva explaining, “As we wanted to do something a little different we had Urban Weddings put together a beautiful poster along the back wall stating “The best things in life just happen”, grabbing your eye as you first walk into the room.”
Eva notes, “From here we went on to showcase all of Paddington’s unique house’s, Latrobe Chapel and the Paddington Antique Centre. With the extreme efforts and help of all of the vendors this truly turned out to be an amazing shoot to showcase the area.”
We absolutely love the strong greenery theme going on here.. The modern Lillipollen flower crown is definitely one of our favorites! A fresh green against all this white makes for such a refreshing shoot 🙂
