What a beautiful shoot I have for you today – the beautiful layers of blooms and incredible wedding gowns combine to create an inspiration shoot, titled “Crown of Flowers”. Softly textured floral hairpieces paired with couture gowns and wedding veils create a completely different look to the more usual wearing of flowers in a bride’s hair.
Melissa Gibson at Pelizzari Photography teamed up with floral stylist Charlie Tran at Stylised, hair and makeup artist Jacqueline Priem and model Ashleigh Hawthorne at Dallys Models with a host of beautiful jewels from Peter Lang and stunning gowns from MXM Couture (gowns 1, 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9)and George Wu (gowns 2, 6 and 7) to create a fashion based shoot that has an essence of raw femininity.
Melissa of Melissa Gibson at Pelizzari Photography explains, “Fashion is a celebration of femininity especially bridal gowns. I believe the strength in femininity comes from its beauty. The collection is a combination of glamor and with a touch of soft elegance. All the elements in this shoot from the delicate lace to the endless blooms injected a softness to the images yet her bare feet and loose braids gives her sense of raw freedom. So I would have to say the biggest influence was everything that embodied femininity.”
