Sally & Ollie
I’m somewhat enchanted by the intimate city wedding of Sally & Ollie. The sparkling gown of the bride sets the scene. They chose the Victorian registry office for their ceremony, celebrating with a small group of their favourite people at a delicious restaurant afterward where they danced the night away. Ryan Noreiks capturing the moments as if one is a fly on the wall.
The newlyweds tell their story. “We met one year previous to the date of our nuptials at The Double Happiness Bar in the Melbourne CBD. We knew immediately we would from that moment spend every hour of every day together.”
Sally wore a sparkling gown by Stellini.
Sally and Ollie were married in the Margaret Craig Room, Old Treasury Building. Sally telling, “Our ceremony was held at the registry office on Spring Street, Melbourne CBD. We wanted an urban Melbourne city chic feel.”
Sally walked down the aisle to Disclosure’s “You & Me” featuring Eliza Doolittle.
Sally and Ollie describe their day as, “Inner city Melbourne urban chic, full glamour with no fuss, a big party with our nearest and dearest with great food food and even better vino and boutique beer.”
Of their photographer, Sally says “No flash, no posing. Spent the whole day and night at the wedding.”
Sally & Ollie chose Epocha Restaurant for their wedding dinner, noting, “Epocha is a gorgeous and cosy inner city restaurant that served a sit down European sharing style menu.” Each guest received two rose quartz crystals – the bride’s favourite.
Sally and Ollie enjoyed a whiskey cocktail for two at the bar at which they met after the wedding – a private celebration for two.
Congratulations on your marriage Sally & Ollie! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Ryan Noreiks for sharing today’s celebration with us!
