With warmer weather comes a plethora of beautiful wedding gowns, each designer releasing new wedding gowns all as beautiful as the last. Pallas Couture has certainly made a mark for themselves this year with “La Promesse” (We featured Pallas Couture 2015 ‘La Promesse’ Collection Part One back in July) which debuted at New York Bridal market in October and today? I get to share part two of the collection!

Part two is inspired by iconic English model Jean Shrimpton – the combination of her “ethereal-like strength revealed within her heart-shaped face, full pout and wide doe-eyed stare.” The campaign shoot inspired by Jean Shrimpton wearing an Yves Saint Laurent bridal gown as photographed by David Bailey for Vogue UK in 1973.

The gowns each designed around the idea of transparency with a luminescent glow. Each silhouette relies heavily on the designer’s careful structure – the sheer panels showing the fine boning and corset work that is a strong feature of the pieces with French appliqued laces, delicate beading  and Italian embroideries.

Pallas Couture gowns are available at their Perth & Sydney boutiques by appointment and selected stockists.
