Miyuki and Mike
When Miyuki and Mike married, they chose a romantic garden wedding, Miyuki wore a soft yellow gown with flowers in her hair, which sounds like something out of a beautiful wedding story and that’s because it is. It’s romantic, beautiful and so full of warmth and love and I’m so honoured to share it with you. The wedding comes to us from Steve at Glass Slipper Photography.
On how they met, the newlyweds tell. “Mike and Miyuki met last year at Movie World. She was a dancer and he was a stuntman. Although it took Mike about 3 months of courting before these two actually went on a date, Miyuki was interested in Mike from the moment she saw him! They have been inseparable since their third date together, and their relationship has been full steam ahead from then. Both ad\vid travelers, they have journeyed to many locations together, including the Big Apple. As eclectic music lovers they have enjoyed various concerts together- Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Diesel and Rodriguez being amongst the array. As active souls they relish in the outdoor life, which includes anything from surfing to motorbike riding. Finally, as budding home bodies they have created a comfortable, relaxing environment where they both reside; Close to the beach with lots of scented candles, framed pictures, plants, a worm farm, fighter fish and a wicked record collection.”
Miyuki wore a pale yellow gown designed and made by the groom’s sister.
Miyuki and Mike held their wedding at Mount Tamborine Botanic Gardens. Circle Of Love Weddings created the white and yellow ceremony setup.
Miyuki walked down the aisle to ‘Little Wing’ by Jimi Hendrix.
Floralies created the floral arrangements for the day, including Miyuki’s floral crown.
There was a special guest at the wedding – Miyuki was a few months pregnant on the wedding day!
Miyuki remembers, “The scrubber turkey who made a grand entrance and caused havoc to the styrofoam flower box carriers whilst I was saying my vows! It was hilarious and we had to chase him away.”
Celebrations continued at Mount Tamborine Winery.
The couple hadn’t chosen a first dance song, instead borrowing their photographers!
Congratulations Miyuki and Mike! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Glass Slipper Photography. for sharing today’s wedding.
