The temperature is dropping and this shoot inspired by the Winter sunshine seemed just the ticket to round out the true start to the colder seasons! This gorgeous winter sun wedding inspiration is to promote Sunshine Coast wedding fair A Darling Affair to be held at The Chapel Woombye on Saturday July, 19th.
Designed to be a wedding fair with a difference, visitors can enjoy a relaxed picnic in the Winter sun with live music while enjoying the vistas of the chapel and seeking out new wedding ideas from a talented bevy of wedding vendors. To give you a peek into what the wedding fair will be like, the team joined together a group of their talented vendors to create a shoot inspired by the relaxed Winter sunshine!
Fair organiser Carrie walks us through the shoot. “The Beauty Case painted Lani’s gorgeous lips with a fire engine red. Ladies if you have lips like Laini, flaunt it! It’s your best asset.”
Willow Bud created gorgeous floral arrangements for the shoot, Carrie telling, “A Darling Affair always thinks of practical things…sometimes bouquets get in the way and we love adorning our model brides with flowers. This time instead of the floral crown or a hand held posy of flowers Laini wore a large wrist corsage. This gives brides the hands free option to enjoy their day and gives it a more prom like feel and sweet little gift from your loving admirer – your husband to be.”
Love My Food catered a decadent picnic. “Jordan being the lovely gentleman that he is, was sharing and dishing out the more-ish picnic food supplied by Love My Food. With our love gauges hitting an all time high and food in our bellies we were all inspired to go forth and create up a storm for the next event.”
Of course it can’t be a Queensland event without a pineapple right? Carrie tells, “To give it a quirky modern twist that A Darling Affair’s events are known for, Hayley from Wholehearted Studio added pineapple cushions, a bush radio, whimsical giant balloons, and the newest supplier to hit the scene – Frozen Sunshine with their oh so delicious handcrafted ice block range.”
Lucky couple Laini and Jordan acted as models for the shoot, captured by When Elephant Met Zebra. “Real life couple Laini & Jordan are one of those loved up couples the ADA team swoon over. Photographer Brian from When Elephant Met Zebra said this has been his favourite shoot ever. Laini & Jordan naturally slipped in and out of poses and their deep love and connection seeped through the lens of the camera.”
Of course, it can’t be a bridal fair without gorgeous gowns and dapper suits. Both of which made an appearance in the shoot. Carrie remarking, “Laini was dressed in a gown by Judy Copley Bridal, the gorgeous tulle layered dress sent off a vintage and flirty feel. Jordan was head to toe in Urbbana Men’s Style Studio. Looking dapper with his suspenders.”
The final finishing floral touch from Willow Bud was a beautiful door wreath. “Willow Bud florist Sandi, blew us away with a gorgeous wreath to be hung as a back drop feature on the big chapel doors.”
