Enjoying the ride and seeing the silver lining. Sometimes that’s difficult to do right? Definitely! That’s why this week, I was absolutely blown away by this post by Andy from Kiss and Tell Photography. When Andy found himself faced with an impromptu bridesmaid’s dress expedition not only did he go along, but he photographed the process, found out more about the boutique he was standing in and wrote a post about it! I don’t know if my husband would have been quite as accommodating without a food based bribe of some sort.
It made me think about how petulant I can get also if I find myself in a situation that isn’t exactly exciting for me. So I’m thinking, why not try to just change our point of view? Because I feel that the grumpiness is what closes us off to possible opportunities. Food for thought this week!
