The above photo has been inspiring my love of geometric wedding decor for quite a few months. What is it about the sharp lines and edges that add such a modern feel to wedding decor? Incorporating colour, glitter and texture, there are so any ways you can make a geometric style work for your own wedding.
Starting with a bold, bright pattern on your stationery (even shaping each piece), adding folded card geometric shapes to your wedding decor, through masses on tables, a floating backdrop of vases filled with carefully shaped ornaments. Cakes with bold geometric shapes, gemstones given as guest favors or decorating sparkling areas of the reception, boldly printed table runners, wide welded shapes and angled crockery.

Love the shapes and colors. This would make for a great display over a dance floor too. love it!
This geometric (dare I say) geeky/retro wedding is way too cool. Love it.
It still looks beautiful almost 3 years later after this post was written.
