Natasha & Andy
I love a good dose of Sydney in my inbox and these gorgeous engagement photos captured by Krystal Dempsey {CLARITYphotography} capture something special for newly engaged Natasha and Andy.
They met at The Argyle and then used The Rocks as the backdrop for their engagement shots. Each one paying homage to their history. Their story goes like this “We met during Andy’s first visit to Australia. We were both having a night out with friends at ‘The Argyle’ in The Rocks in Sydney.”
Natasha recalls, “Getting to know Andy’s British slang was quite a challenge and usually resulted in funny explanations and a lot of laughter.”
As for the proposal? “We went to Paris for New Years 2011. We wanted to do lots of sightseeing and also spend Christmas with Andy’s family in the UK. Andy’s family gave us a beautiful Christmas gift of a romantic horse & cart ride around Paris. It was an hour ride with champagne and seeing the sights of Paris. Natasha remembers saying to Andy, “Paris is such a lovely place, no wonder so many people fall in love here.” At this very moment as we sat under the Eiffel Tower, Andrew lent over holding an amazing ring and asked Natasha to marry him! This moment was even captured on camera by the lovely lady driving their horse carriage. And of course Natasha said yes.”
“We chose The Rocks in Sydney for this shoot as we not only met at the Argyle in The Rocks, but we really love the cobblestone lanes, historical buildings and Sydney’s gorgeous Harbour with the bridge and the Opera House.”
I love color of engagement photos like this. sweet and memorable
